Our Key Focus Areas
City Beautification
The aircraft roundabout project, developed by House Of Khemani, is now a distinctive landmark in Daman. While it is a beautiful enhancement to the townscape, it is also an active recipient of public adoration.
City Beautification
In an endeavour to promote national pride and honour the armed forces, House Of Khemani installed an iconic Indian Army T-55 battle tank at Moti Daman Fort. This public war memorial is now a beloved attraction enjoyed by both locals and tourists.

Right along Diu’s waterfront sits the ex-INS Khukri (IN Yard 825), which was acquired by the Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Through the Kamala Kewalram Khemani Foundation, House of Khemani contributed Rs. 87.50 lakh towards renovating the entire naval ship and transforming it into a lively museum. This naval heritage site is now one of the crown jewels of the city’s cultural attractions.
Health & Emergency Care
During the COVID-19 pandemic, House of Khemani took swift action to support community health by distributing hand sanitisers worth approximately Rs. 60 lakh, both directly and through RNC Eye Hospital, across the communities it serves. The group also distributed groceries worth Rs. 4 lakh across Daman, ensuring access to essential supplies during a critical period. These efforts supported public health, strengthened community resilience, and helped curb the spread of the virus.
Education and School Rebuild
House of Khemani refurbished 12 Government Schools across Daman, Diu and Nagar Haveli, providing essential amenities and basic infrastructure. This included renovating Panchayat Schools in Daman through the Daman Industries Association with a contribution of over Rs. 1 crore. Despite challenges, the project was completed in just 100 days with Government support.
Disability Inclusivity Empowerment
House of Khemani partnered with the Blind People’s Association through Manav Kalyan Trust, Navsari, to distribute Torch-It mobility canes to visually impaired individuals in 2019, promoting greater independence and confidence. In 2021, the group contributed Rs. 13 lakh towards the digitalisation of the Blind School. It further supported accessible eye care with Rs. 25 lakh for advanced angiography equipment at RNC Free Eye Hospital in 2021, followed by Rs. 10 lakh in 2024 for a YAG laser and accessories, strengthening free eye care services.
